Tilburg University was founded in 1927 as the Catholic University of Economics. It now hosts over 10,000 students on a scenic campus surrounded by local forests, lakes, and rivers. Students give the city a lively appearance. They bike and walk through the city streets, meet in local cafés and outdoor restaurants, and have fun in the town's clubs and bars. They make Tilburg a lively city in which students are a main priority. The Office for International Relations provides on-site support for our students, assisting with academic needs, living arrangements, and other daily concerns.
